Bookings
Tutoring sessions are scheduled by appointment and are usually held online through Google Meet. After a session is confirmed, I will send the meeting link and any preparation instructions by email or message.
Materials & Session Preparation
Tutoring sessions are most effective when students send class materials in advance. This may include homework problems, review packets, notes, lab assignments, quizzes, tests, AP Classroom questions, or a list of topics they want to review.
At minimum, students should let me know the topic, unit, or assignment they want to focus on before the session. The more information I have ahead of time, the more focused and productive the session will be.
Communication
The best way to schedule, reschedule, or ask a quick question is by email or direct message. I do my best to respond as quickly as possible, but please allow reasonable response time outside of scheduled tutoring hours.
Meeting links and information about upcoming tutoring sessions will be sent directly to the student. For transparency and safety, a parent or guardian will be copied on all scheduling and session-related communications whenever possible.
Students are welcome to message me about class topics, homework questions, or materials they would like to review, but parents/guardians will remain included on official communication regarding scheduling, payments, and session details.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
I understand that schedules change, especially for busy students and families. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged 50% of the scheduled session fee.
Missed sessions, no-shows, or cancellations after the scheduled start time may be charged the full session fee.
Emergency situations will always be handled with understanding and on a case-by-case basis.
Late Arrivals
Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. If a student arrives late, we will still use the remaining time productively, but the session may not be extended beyond the original end time.
Payments
Payment is due at the time of booking or before the scheduled session unless another arrangement has been made. Regular weekly students may arrange payment on a weekly or monthly basis.
Technology & Online Sessions
Online tutoring sessions are usually held through Google Meet. Students should have a stable internet connection, a working microphone, and access to any class materials they want to review during the session.
If a student experiences minor technical issues, we will do our best to continue the session or use the remaining time productively. If a major technical issue on the student’s end prevents the session from happening, we will work together to reschedule when possible.
If a technical issue on my end prevents the session from taking place or significantly reduces the quality of the session, I will either reschedule the session at no additional cost or provide a refund when appropriate.
